Today we had the good fortune of having Kentucky's 1st Miss Basketball as our Inspire Speaker. Donna Murphy attended Newport HS and shared her story. Inspiring! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏀💚❤️🖤🐐#WeAreDayton

We are happy to spotlight two FIVE STAR Dayton Independent School employees. Speech-Language Pathologist, Clara Schawe, who has been with Dayton Schools for 11 years, and Dayton MS/HS Teacher, Barbie Lukens, who has been at Dayton Schools for 21 years! We are so grateful to have these two wonderful educators in our district! #WeAreDayton

What an unbelievable, 5-Star performance from our Greendevil Cheer Squad!! Our cheerleaders did not disappoint and made us all so proud at their final competition today at Ryle where they earned 1st Place!! Way to go, Greendevils!! #WeAreDayton ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️📣💪🏻🏆

Greendevils take care of business against Holmes with a huge 54-22 win. Tayah Smith was the star on senior night! Congrats, ladies! Also, the MS girls teams were recognized, the cheerleaders killed it, and the band was fantastic! What a night in Dayton! #WeAreDayton

The DHS Drama Club took a trip to Ft. Wright Elementary to see their production of “Seussical, Jr.!” Ms. Kelly Baralt, a co-director of the DHS Drama Club, is the director for Ft. Wright. Our Greendevils are happy to support someone who always supports us! Bravo, great show!  

A huge Thank you to St. Elizabeth, The Reds Community Fund, and Pitch in for Baseball and Softball for donating the baseball equipment to the DHS baseball team! Thank you Assistant Coach Austin Hall for attending the event with our Greendevil baseball players!! #WeAreDayton

We are happy to announce Dayton High School's December Drivers of the Month! All of these students wonderfully display Energy Bus Rule #3-No Bullying Allowed! They are nice and welcoming to everyone, they stick up for others, and they speak up when necessary. We are proud that they are Greendevils! #WeAreDayton

The Newport Wildcats rolled over the Ludlow Panthers on #StanSteidelCourt tonight to make it to the finals of the 2025 All “A” Classic hosted by Dayton High School. Next up, Beechwood and Newport Central Catholic battle for their chance to play for the title #KHSAA #AllAClassic
