Happy Energy Bus Thursday! We kicked off year three of being an Energy Bus School with our first weekly activity where we introduced rule number one “You Are The Driver“. This Energy Bus rule reminds us that we can’t always control everything that happens, but we can control how we respond. Being the “driver” means we take ownership of our actions, we accept responsibility for our choices and recognize that our attitude influences the direction of our life. #WeAreDayton 🚌

Mrs. Ryan's junior and seniors were very excited to welcome the National Guard into their classes today! National Guard representatives shared potential opportunities for college and the workplace, hit on some budgeting tips and costs of college, and gave our kids some great information to help ensure a successful future. Always some pretty amazing things happening here at DHS! #WeAreDayton

An amazing opportunity for some of our Greendevils today to attend an address from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and member of the Kentucky House of Representatives Matt Lehman! The DHS students attended the address at the VFW in Dayton, KY, and, as always, our Greendevils represented us well when listening to and having a quick meet-and-greet with both the Governor and Senator. Always pretty incredible things happening at Dayton High School! #WeAreDayton

We had a great twelfth day of school here at Dayton High School, and that is largely in part to the best senior class in the state of Kentucky! The DHS seniors are dedicated, hardworking, and the greatest leaders you can ask for. They set the tone for our building and are the main reason our culture is as positive as it is. DHS is not what it is without them, and we can't wait to celebrate the Class of 2027 throughout the school year! #WeAreDayton

You will not find a better group of Junior students than the ones here at Dayton High School! Our tenth day at school was another amazing one thanks to our superb sophomore students! This group is respectful to staff, supportive of one another, and eager to learn! Most impressive is that they are just getting started-their potential is through the roof! We are so happy to call these 10th graders Geeendevils! #WeAreDayton

Our wonderful, wise, and welcoming 9th grade students are a remarkable group and made the ninth day of school here at DHS just as remarkable! Their kindness, curiosity, creativity, and commitment make such a positive impact on our school culture. We are so proud of these brilliant young leaders and look forward to watching them learn, lead, and flourish throughout the year! The future of Dayton High School is bright with this wonderful freshmen class! #WeAreDayton
