Happy Energy Bus Thursday! Today's Energy Bus “We Are” activity made for another great opportunity for students to reflect and grow. Students from Mr. Taylor’s class volunteered to lead the activity for their class. The essence of the “We Are” activity lies in promoting a supportive environment where like-minded peers uplift each other rather than engaging in negative behaviors. This camaraderie not only strengthens bonds but also contributes positively to individual self-esteem by celebrating shared identities and interests. #WeAreDayton

What an awesome experience today for a large group of our DHS upperclassmen to attend The National Underground Freedom Center over in Cincinnati. These students were able to explore the history of the abolitionist movement and the ongoing struggle for human rights. By examining some of the most amazing and intriguing historical artifacts available to the public, students were able to connect classroom lessons to real-world history and contemporary social issues. Thank you to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center for an insightful and educational day. And thank you to our amazing students for representing Dayton High School in a positive way, as always! #WeAreDayton

Come out tonight and celebrate our seniors as they battle Boone County! Senior events to occur before the 7:30 tip.

The varsity Lady Greendevils put on an absolute clinic tonight in a win over Williamstown 56-30. The girls lead from start to finish and got strong performances from seniors Cassidy Harris and Emily Hall. Plus junior Lanaya Torres got it done on both ends. The girls are only getting better as the regular season comes to an end this week. Keep playing hard, Greendevils! #WeAreDayton

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Boys and 8th Grade Girls basketball teams for making the conference championship games on Saturday in Bracken County! The boys will play at 3 pm and the girls at 4:30 pm!#wearedayton

Dayton Baseball will begin official practices on Monday February 16 at 5:30 PM in the field house. No equipment or experience needed. Happy Energy Bus Thursday! And what a day it was to "Love Your Passengers!" We had a great time with the "Compliment Wall" activity this week. During 4th bell students and teachers had discussions about the significance and impact of giving and receiving compliments. We also wrote compliments on Post-it notes and hung them on the classroom walls. Kind words make a difference, go be a difference maker. #WeAreDayton 🚌💚
