Today the KY Council on Postsecondary Education and KY Center for Statistics held a focus group with DHS students to give them feedback on a new career and education planning platform set to launch in early 2025. This platform is a partnership between CPE, KY Stats and KDE to help all learners from K-adult explore and plan for future career and financial success. Only a few schools in Ky were selected to have students give feedback and DHS was one of them.💚💪⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Club Day #1 at DHS was a huge success!! Teachers put together some amazing clubs, and the students were fantastic as always. Participation, engagement, and inspiration were at an all time high! Can't wait for Club Day #2! #WeAreDayton

Yesterday marked the kickoff of the Dayton ESports season, featuring both our Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. The Junior Varsity squad, led by John Thompson, Jynx Turner, and Zyon Barnes, faced off against the Nicholas County Blue Jackets. Meanwhile, the Varsity team, under the leadership of Claudio Miller, Will Mueller, and Diem Donnerson, took on the Estill County "Rocketeer Engineers." Both teams gained invaluable experience, and we look forward to learning from their performances as we strive for a successful season ahead.
All Dayton Independent Schools after school activities are cancelled for Friday, September 27.
