The Dayton XC teams competed on Saturday in the conference Championships at Idlewild Park in Burlington, KY. For the first time in a long time, Dayton was able to enter teams for both the girls and boys races. Special thanks to Mathew Tumler, Elias Lopez-Torres, and Zerdesht Arslan for running their first varsity race of the season.
The middle school and elementary XC teams ran on Thursday at Pendery Park in the Campbell County Championships. Many individual medals and a second place team trophy for the elementary girls:
Sophia Bays
Ashton Clifton
Rowa Kubik
Brooklyn Hoepker
Morgan Sumpter
Good luck to the XC Team as they compete in the Regional Race on October 26th at Williamstown, KY.

The varsity senior Cross Country runners were recognized this past Wednesday at Walton Verona. Following the recognition, they ran a 3200m race where several personal records were set. We want to congratulate seniors Joel Bryant, Addison Clifton, and Cayden Evans on an amazing senior year!

What a positive assembly to wrap up Energy Bus Rule #1-Create a Positive Vision! We were able to recognize our September Drivers of the Month, hear students' positive experiences with Rule #1, and watch as students "drove" their classmates to the finish line in an epic wheelbarrow race. DHS is equally as excited to turn our attention to Rule #2-Fueling Your Ride with Positive Energy! #WeAreDayton

Stop by Gil Lynn Park tonight at 8:00 pm for the annual Burning of the Tiger! You can also purchase 2024 Battle for the Paddle t-shirts for $15 each at the bonfire and show your #GreendevilPride as Dayton prepares to #BeatBellevue

We have a new grade level attendance contest winner this week. Congratulations to our 9th grade! Attendance Matters! 💪💚⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
