Happy Energy Bus Thursday! This week for our Energy Bus Activity students had the opportunity to conduct an interview of a peer or teacher. Students were able to practice listening, empathy, and reflection during this activity. Keep growing, Greendevils! #WeAreDayton 💚🚌

We could not be more proud of our second quarter honor roll and super honor roll students at Dayton Middle and High School! These students work hard every single day and set the standard in the building academically. What a special group of Greendevils! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your studies! #WeAreDayton

We were extremely lucky to have the incredibly impressive Dr. Kristilynn Turney come speak with all our DHS students today! While Dr. Turney has addressed our staff multiple times, seeing her in front of our students was so rewarding and inspiring. Her simple messages of being yourself and acknowledging all forward progress, no matter how small, really resonated with both students and staff alike. Thank you, Dr. Turney, for an amazing morning! #WeAreDayton

An awesome night at DHS as the varsity boys take care of business against Bellevue! The band, cheerleaders, and fans created an awesome atmosphere as the Greendevils jumped out to an early lead and then held off a few late Bellevue pushes to secure the W. The boys played incredibly hard, team ball. Extra proud to be a Greendevil tonight! #WeAreDayton

JV loses a tough one to Bellevue but continue to play hard and get better. Varsity boys up next at 7:30! Let's go Greendevils! #WeAreDayton

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you of a change to our after-school pickup procedures that will begin on Tuesday, January 6.
Parents and guardians who arrive before dismissal may park on Clay Street by the gymnasium. Student dismissal will take place at 2:55 p.m.
Any parent or guardian who arrives to pick up their child between 2:55 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. will be directed by staff at the 3rd Street and Clay Street intersection to proceed around the school and exit through the alley nearest flood wall (not Binkley Way) when departing campus.
These procedures are being implemented to help maintain a safe and efficient traffic flow during dismissal. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we make this adjustment.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support.

We are happy to announce Dayton High School's December Drivers of the Month! These outstanding students were chosen based on their representation of the third Energy Bus Rule-"No Bullying Allowed." Our December Drivers were specifically chosen by their FLEX period teachers, and they were all picked because they are students who choose kindness and courage every day. Standing up to bullying takes strength, empathy, and integrity, and these students demonstrate all three on a consistent basis. Their positive attitude lifts others up and helps create a school where everyone feels safe, respected, and included. They lead by example, and their actions make a real difference. We thank these Greendevils for being brave enough to stand up for others and positive enough to lift people up! Congratulations! #WeAreDayton

Congrats to DHS Junior Anthony Hull for winning this week's "Star of the Week" from the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame. The great Steve Moeller stopped by the Greendevil's practice today to surprise Anthony with the award and give all his teammates a coupon to McDonalds. Ant has been tearing it up on both ends of the floor. The award is well deserved. Keep up the great work, Anthony! #WeAreDayton

Loved seeing our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Lady Greendevils getting after it tonight on the court with two impressive wins over RA Jones. Even more outstanding than two dominating wins was the way the girls hustled, shared the ball, and picked one another up. The future is bright for Lady Greendevils basketball! Way to go, ladies!! #WeAreDayton💚🏀

The middle school boys games (7th/8th grade) originally scheduled for tonight have been moved to January 22nd following the Varsity girls game the begins at 6 pm.
Very proud of our JV and Varsity Lady Greendevils hanging tough against a great Ludlow team tonight. The girls played their tails off all 32 minutes and are only getting better. They are tough, hard-nosed, and never give up! #WeAreDayton
