Despite blazing hot temps the Greendevil Football Team, Cheer team, and loyal fans showed up and showed out on Friday evening. The Greendevils showed a lot of grit and determination in their final tune-up scrimmage against Holy Cross setting them up for a great season.

What an incredible opening to the new Greendevil Stadium!! It was a beautiful night to have students, staff, alumni, administrators, members of the board, and community members out to celebrate the newest and best facility in Kentucky! #WeAreDayton

All fans will enter at the corner of 3rd Street and Greendevil Lane. ADA parking will be available in the main high school lot. Gates will be open at 5 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or via the attached qr code

Attending School Events on Campus in Evening - Change of Entrance:

Dayton HS is making a change this school year to the entrance point for people attending volleyball, basketball, or other events on campus after school hours. If you are attending a game or school event, please enter through the Main Entrance Doors to the high school and walk through the 1st floor hallway to the gymnasium or other specified point of destination. We will no longer be using the alley way and entering through the cafeteria doors. Please follow the signage outside the main entrance to the high school Thank you!

What a way to start off the 2025-26 school year! The DHS Seniors celebrated their "last first day of school" during the very first Senior Sunrise Breakfast at Greendevil Stadium. This is an amazing group that we are happy to call Greendevils and the leaders of our building! #WeAreDayton

Good morning, Greendevils! We are so excited that school starts this week! We can't wait to have our Greendevils back in the building. Just a quick reminder about some of our start dates:
-All DHS students start school on Wednesday, 8/13 @ 8am. Doors open at 7:30am for breakfast.
-All DHS ATC Juniors start school out at Campbell County Area Technology Center on Wednesday, 8/13. The bus will leave at 7:15am.
-All DHS ATC Senior students and Junior Nursing students going out to the Campbell County Area Technology Center start on Wednesday, 8/13. The bus will leave at 11am. Thees students are still expected at DHS on Wednesday morning for their DHS classes.
-All Gateway & Enzweiler courses start on Monday, 8/18, but these students are still expected at DHS on Wednesday, 8/13, for their DHS classes.
-All DHS YSA students start school on Monday, 8/18 @ Northern Kentucky University.

We were honored to hear from Dayton Schools alumni and their current Dayton students during our staff opening day today! Alumni and students shared "What Dayton means to them!" #WeAreDayton

Orientation Night at Dayton High School was a success. We welcomed our incoming 7th graders. Students attending Gateway, ATC (vocational school), and School to Work seniors were able to learn more about their respective programs as we begin the 2025-2026 school year. We are excited to welcome back all Greendevils on Wednesday, August 13th. Let's go Devils!

The DHS cross country ran their first meet of the 2025 season at Masterson Station in Lexington this past Saturday. They run again at Trimble County on Saturday, August 16.

This Friday at 7 PM your Dayton Greendevils Football team will kickoff their first scrimmage at Walton Verona! Admission to the event is free. Please note that the field is not at the high school and is located at 2742 Verona Mudlick Road, Walton, KY 41092. Go Greendevils!

7th Grade Orientation @ 6:00 in the cafeteria.

Gateway Orientation @ 7:00 in the cafeteria.

ATC Orientation @ 7:00 in the Art Room (Room 123).

School to Work for Seniors @ 7:00 in the Library.

Please enter through the main entrance of the high school - doors will open at 5:40.

Midnight Madness has been moved to Noon Madness on Friday, August 1st! Our stadium lights are not operable yet! Hope to see you on Friday! Go Devils!
