Hello Dayton Greendevils!
This summer has flown by and we find ourselves preparing for a new school year! I cannot relate how excited I am to get this year started and get back to Growing!
I am new to the school district this year. Previously, I spent 11 years at Ludlow High School teaching a variety of high school and middle school English/Language Arts classes. While at Ludlow I was the head track and cross country coach, and also spent many years as a varsity assistant basketball coach and varsity assistant football coach.
I have been very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to have a substantial and meaningful educational career myself. In 2008, I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Teaching from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2011, I received my Masters of Arts as a Literacy Specialist and Teacher Leader from Northern Kentucky University. In 2015, I received my Rank I Principal certification from Xavier University. And in 2020, I will receive my Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies. All of this was made possible because I had a terrific foundation coming out of high school and I am passionate about ensuring that each and every child has those same opportunities.
