What is the Youth Services Center??
Youth Services Centers were created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. The goal of the Youth Services Center is to meet the needs of all children and their families served by the Center as a means to enhance student academic success. Dayton Independent Youth Services Center provides support and services to students in grades 7-12 and their families regardless of age, race, religion, gender, or income level.
Center Services
Referrals to community agencies and social services for health related issues.
Substance abuse prevention, education and counseling
Summer and part-time job development
Career Exploration
Pregnancy Prevention and Teen Parent Support
Assistance with crisis funding if funding is available

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Drug Free Club registration - All high school students have the opportunity to be a part of this new club that rewards a drug free lifestyle. Register to be rewarded all year for making healthy choices. The first 40 students can join for just $10. Contact the YSC to register.
